There's a cow in the Road!

About a month ago, as driving down a county road in my market place, this cow decided to escape his fenced pasture right in front of me. I think he was heading for the hills and was happily kicking up his hoofs.  As is commonly said in rural areas, good fences make good neighbors. Not allowing your cows to escape and run the road is also a neighborly good thing too!

Viroqua Estate Sale & open house ~ this weekend

Thursdays November 12th until Saturday November 14th everything in the home must go.

Market Watch in Viroqua November 2009

The price range went from a low of $54,900 to a high of $$740,000 with a total of 136 listings to choose from. What do you get for the money?

At the low end of the price range is an REO listing in Viroqua, which is actually my listing and it is a fixer upper property. The property is below market for the asking price and may appeal to first time home buyers or an investor.  The listing remarks say: Remarks: CHARMING OLDER HOME WITH SOME ORIGINAL WOODWORK. HAS FIRST FLOOR BEDROOM AND BATH, 2 ADDITIONAL BEDROOMS ON THE SECOND FLOOR. UPDATED FURNACE, HOT WATER HEATER AND ELECTRIC. VERY AFFORDABLE HOME WITH LARGE CORNER LOT.

Sold MLS Listing for the Month of September totaled 15. The price range was from a $40,000 for a 3 bedroom, 1 Bath mobile home in rural Viroqua, which took approximately 365 days to sell. The high sale was in Rural Chaseburg and was a amazing log home. It sold in 317 days for $795,000.
