Lucky is just a farm dog and pretty much a Hinze 57 kinda of a dog. When I took this photo and he was doing what all farm dogs love to do. That is to cool off in a stream after taking a long walk around the farm with his people. Seeing him there made me think of the 'Dog Days of Summer". It is the name for the most sultry period of summer, from about July 3 to Aug. 11.

Mary-were you on some type of bridge above Lucky? The water looks nice and refreshing.
Hi Debra, Yes I was up on the driveway that was above the creek.
Morning Mary, it looks like you live in a beautiful part of the country. What a great photo of Lucky!
Hi Mary:
I'm sure that Lucky like to take a cool swim, every so often too!
Hi Mary, They just seem to love the water, don't they? Anyway they can find it and get in it, there they are!
It took me a while to find Lucky...he kinda blended with the scenery...and all too soon he will have to put his skates on and sled/slide around the same landscape...enjoy in now Lucky !
Sally, Yes luck is sort of hidden and blends in with the dark water.
Sandy, water is a must for most dogs...
Cynthia, it is very scenic here, hills and hidden valleys
Toula, Yes it does!
