They are the new owners of this lovely Ranch home over in the Skyline area, which I helped them find. Both were wonderful to work with and knew exactly what they were looking for in a new home! After previewing numerous listings both in the Viroqua and Westby area; their choice was an easy one. With a closing only last Thursday they are eager to get settled in and start living in their new home. I know that they both fell in love with the Master bedroom with the spa bath and, of course, the updated kitchen was also a hit.
With all the negative news about the house market being in a slump, it is actually a terrific time to be a buyer. It's even a better time to hire a buyer's agent to go to work for you and get the best possible terms on your buy. Together we were able to negotiate a very favorable price. It was even better than we actually expected. I think both Tim and Emily are still smiling!
In this market there are many good reasons to work with a qualified real estate professional. Especially a trained professional who has earned the Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR®) designation like myself, so feel free to give me a call to find out how I can help you too find the home you are looing for.

It IS the very best time to buy....what a trifecta...great rates, selection and prices...Let's hope the Tim and Emilys come out of hiding everywhere !
Love that.. it is a trifecta right now thanks Sally
Good for you, Mary! These first time buyers are the key to the market stabilizing. You're doing your part!
Mary, what a great post. Interest rates are at a 37 year low. Sellers are nervous to sell, fewer buyer out there to compet against, great time to negotiate and buy. We are at the bottom if not close to it and now the only way interest rates and prices can go is up.
Your picture brings up something that I've always wondered about. Wouldn't only the Seller and Seller's agent put "SOLD" on a listing? Seem like the Buyer and Buyer's agent would use "BOUGHT."
I haven't come up with something satisfactory for my own use, but the longer I'm in this business, the more I'm thinking about "BOUGHT" for my testimonials from Buyers.
Jim, In Wisconsin the listing agent has to remove their sign on closing day, since they have no contract with the seller. Interesting semantics, bought vs sold ...
I LOVE how you post to the success of your clients. That is simply fantastic.
P.S. You'd commented on my blog about online theft. I know this same party did the same thing to RE/MAX corporate - I'm not sure to what extent but their claiming their the founders of a "SOLD on a Cure Foundation" on their site. Noticed you're with RE/MAX and they have one too??
